I did not tell myself "no more soda's this week" and as I right the post am sipping on one. Not Me!

I did not put my child in the shower to clean his hiney after a BM because I didn't want to deal with wrestling him to be still as I changed his diaper. Nope-not me!

I did not lay in bed on Saturday night terrified because of thunder. What twenty-something lays in bed shaking over thunder?

My child certainly did not eat cheese and yogurt for dinner this past week because he refused the meal I had prepared. What mother allows that? No me!

Stop!

Where does the time go?
One minute my baby is kicking from inside my stomach, then next he's running to the golf cart ready to take a ride.

I look at his precious feet and think one day he's going to be able to reach those pedals.
Why does he have to grow up?
Why can't he stay my itty bitty babe?

So badly do I want to stomp on the "STOP" pedal! I just want to stop this moment in time and enjoy my precious child before he grows up anymore.
However, I can't. Time doesn't work that way. Time only knows to "go".
There is no stopping time. Once it's gone, well, it's gone.

All I know to do is to hold on tight to the steering wheel and enjoy the ride!

Lets just say he's been having a blast splash.
